repo

QSECOFR provides a repo for IBM i that has Mono and the dependencies that it requires, as well as additional software for IBM i. It provides a complement to the repositories from IBM and others.

NOTICE: We can offer best-effort support, but we can't make any guarantees. Updates are not guaranteed either; it updates when we feel like it. Package offerings are lightly tested, but we can't make any guarantees of compatibility or issues in the packages; you may not want to use this on a production server. This repository is not endorsed by IBM or our employeers.

If you are using this repo, please let us know and give us your feedback and notify of us issues.

Install Instructions

To install, add this Repo file to /QOpenSys/etc/yum/repos.d. The packages are built for IBM i 7.2, and should function on IBM i 7.3 and IBM i 7.4. (AIX is not supported.)

I have started signing packages. You can install my public key into RPM with rpm --import https://repo.qseco.fr/qsecofr-calvin.key. You can verify it's installed by running rpm -q gpg-pubkey --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release} --> %{summary}\n';. You can verify RPMs manually with --checksig. Once a full rebuild happens, you can turn on package verification for this repo.

All software has SRPMs; the patches and specfiles they are built from are on GitHub.
